Pelada (street football) do ZUMBI: 75 anos – Guiness Book of the Records

As a boy, on Saturdays, at the Esporte Clube Cocotá, he would sit next to the wife of Enciclopédia Nilton Santos, Celinha, to watch that great game, well played, among friends. After the game, that good get-together of those who know how to live!

Years later, when we stopped playing competitive football for Cocotá, we created the Enemies of the Drink Group, which still exists today, but is much younger than the ZOMBIE’s PELADA.

On November 18th I will be there to attend the event, pelada and barbecue, at the Jardim Guanabara Yacht Club, to see long-time friends from Ilha do Governador. Invited by João Carlos, Joca, excellent Player, inveterate Hairdresser, Winning Coach and the tireless Carlinhos and Fernando.

Pelada is a wonderful activity, when children run with the ball experimenting with feints and dribbling, and at the best age making the ball run, as well played football should be.

I read the Book of 50 years of Pelada do Zumbi, I thought it was a great idea, it perpetuates each of the participants, an Ode to Pelada and to Football, to Friendship.
