Azulinos athletes, who are we?

They say that “something” is missing for the Blue Lion to conquer tactical identity on the field, in this Parazão.

It’s true! And thankfully the evaluation happens exactly at the moment when you, blue athletes, will play the semifinal and the final of the competition.

After all, what is this “something” that we lack?

Individual values?  Of course not. We, from the stands, approved the signings made for 2003. And we believe in the potentialities of those who stayed. History does not lie: each of you, here or from here or from you were dressed in the blue shirt, has recognized value, some even with passages through clubs of tradition of greater scope than that of the Clube do Remo. So no one is here for nothing.

Now, if we have values, recognized technique and history of struggle, what do we lack?

Maybe we lack, blue athletes, sparkle in the eyes. That’s right. We lack that brilliance that makes it possible to extend the range of what we have seen and felt, inside and outside the four lines.

The sparkle in the eyes is the door of the soul of a professional, whatever his craft, he will never be successful if he lacks soul in the exercise of what he practices.

The sparkle in the eyes, which gives matter and soul to the professional, is perhaps the “something” that we identify and seek. The time has come to root it.

This is the time to take it on, to change history.

A team without a soul has no identity, no cadence and no collectivity. Even if it tries, it ends up boiling down to a bunch of athletes who don’t know where they came from or where they’re going. It’s like a gathering of musical instruments playing without solidarity. There is no orchestra. If there is no orchestra there is no harmony.

We lack, blue athletes, the effective awareness that we are able to change history, the pace of posture on the field. Yes, we need to let go of the predictions that end up leaving slacks and assert the awareness of the importance that each of us has.

Then join it to the potential of the companion and tell everyone, adversaries or not, that we are capable of being eternal winners.

The predictions of the press, the fans, of any origin, may well take adverse directions when, on the field, we impose ourselves, in a clear message that you, blue athletes, have a history of struggle that deserves respect. Perhaps the adversaries have assimilated this truth. They have technique. So do you. They have a good coach. So do you. They’re a family. We are also a family.

But, there is a difference. We need to have technique and be a family with a twinkle in our eye. That makes a difference. That’s what’s making the difference.

The Rowing Club and its fans count on the resumption of the awareness of values of each one of you. He believes in changing the course of history, the predictions. If for those who know, it is enough to want to get it right, then the mission that knocks on our door is not the most difficult. We do not need miracles, as the adversaries say, to prove that we are capable, because the power to make it happen is within each one of us and a solidary action within the field. Maybe we need the belief in that sense.

Blue athletes, we, your fans, are betting on you. We believe that we will be champions, contrary to everything and everyone. The navy-blue shirt deserves respect that, for sure, you will be able to impose on the opponents, overcoming the dejection, the uncertainties and mismatches, from the first to the last minute of the game.

Let’s start the decisive quadrangular. From equals to equals, we will enter the field and practice a solidarity football, as if it were a new beginning of family life, of a family that has been deconcentrating, but that has known how to review its actions, remake its values, and tell everyone that it is happy and knows how to be happy. So are we, blue athletes.

In the name of the azulina nation

My observations: 20 years after the Victory! Club do Remo

1 – Shown and exemplified to the cast before the final phase, after received.

2 – It seems that it was written by a natural psychologist, fan with values.

3 – The group was totally reformulated for Parazão, leaving several players and brought, on the recommendation of the coach, 5 athletes.

4 – One of the opponents, Paissandu, champion in the recent past formed a squad to dispute the Libertadores, and achieving success, beating Boca Juniors in Bambonera, and Tuna Luso with some formidable players, one that resembled Socrates.

5 – And the miracle happened the impossible became possible, and at the right time: We beat Paissandu  in the semifinal and Tuna, 4 with chocolate in the final.

6 – Thank you to the fan who sent the missive, was part of a formidable process, gave a great help at an important time.

7 – Our cast was very good.

8 – Our Technical Committee, formidable.

9 – Our Psychologist, excellent.

10 – Director was very good, the board, not so much!

11 – Poor Press, who with rare exceptions, thought he knew everything, but did not know Gian, the Squad and the Coach. Miracles happen, pure luck, no work…
