The biggest surprise in history,

on the day that the fearsome

Hungarian Escrete lost the title

In one of the most discussed cups of

all the time, the undisputed was the

Hungary national team. The expression

Hungarian Escrete is used to this day,

when someone who characterize a great

football team. The truth is that Hungarians

played for the goal with the obsession of the goal.

They scored 27 in five matches, with the incredible

average of 5.4 goals per game, which no one

surpassed to this day. It was with this team that the

Brazil met in the quarter-finals. A

tumultuous departure, around which it was created

all folklore, discussed to this day. The

truth, however, is that to the good team

Brazilian, the Hungarians opposed

a real machine, full of moves

tested.

A 4-2 loss was inevitable. And they were

straight ahead. They also beat the Uruguayans by

4 x 2. Next, they played the first match with

Germany: Hungary 8 x 3 and, everything indicated, its

From Golakeeper – two defenders, three halves and fice forwards

to – Goalkeeper, three defenders, two halves ans 5 forwards

Later, in 1958, Djalma Santos, Nilton Santos and Didi became World Champions with Brazil
