TECHNICAL-TACTICAL FAVORITE WORK: 6 – COUNTER-ATTACK

TECHNICAL-TACTICAL FAVORITE WORK

6 – COUNTER-ATTACK:

Local:             Full Graound/Campo todo.

Teams:           Starters (11)” A” x Reserves (11) “B”.

Dynamics:     Team “B” attacks “A” with the objective of scoring the goal. When team “A” takes the ball, it has up to 7 passes to make the shot and the goal in the opponent’s goal on the counterattack. Whoever is counterattacked defends according to the coach’s previous guidance: only the goalkeeper; the goalkeeper and the 2 (two) central defenders; the goalkeeper, the 2 (two) central defenders and the midfielder; up to a maximum of 5 players, when switching from counterattack to organized attack (partially composed defense). To train the starters to work safely when counterattacked, and the reserves also develop the counterattack, “A” attacks “B”, who counterattacks when taking the ball.

Material:       Two sets of different shirts and one ball.

Conditioning factors: Ground ball, ball does not stop, 2 or 3 touches, all in the opponent’s field at the time of finishing, avoiding cross.

Tips:

Start with a counterattack in 1 pass after the ball is recovered, that is: the player who takes the ball (including the goalkeeper) is no longer combated and must execute a long pass to one of the attackers and the whole team leaves together. After the substitutes counterattack, the starters counterattack in a maximum of 3 passes, 5 and then 7, when a counterattack action ends and becomes an organized attack.

First with the ball on the ground, then free.

Counterattack is conceptualized in up to 7 passes and around 20 seconds.

It must be trained to exhaustion, as most goals occur on counterattacks.

After the exercise is well absorbed, it includes the combat of the player who lost the ball fighting, as well as little by little the defenders who fight, first as leftovers, then in real or greater intensity.

P.S. A greatbrazilian Coach, Nelson Rosa, used to open toe wingers whenadvantage and one short.
