NORMS FOR TECHNICAL STAFF
With the objective to improve the job we propose the following routines:
1 – All Staff Members must arrive in the Club at least 60 (sixty) minutes before de beginning of the activity, and go to the Head Coach’s Office before go to the field.
2 – All members of the Technical Staff, at the end of every journey must pass by the Staff’s Office to evaluate the activities of the day and prepare the next session
3 – The program of following week’s activities should be done 2 (two) days before coming game, either Friday if the game is on Sunday, or Thursday if the Game is on Saturday, with the participation of all Staff Members (Technical Director, Head Coach, Team Manager, Assistant Coach, Physical Trainer, Goalkeeper Coach, Physiotherapist, Doctor and Equipment Manager.
4 – Training should be planned in advance under a didactic and pedagogic way, to get more benefits and make easy the job of the Medical Department and Equipment Management
5 – The Assistant Coach should go to the Medical Department on a daily basis, 30 minutes before the practice stars to get the information of the players under medical prescription, or direct to the players if the Medical Department is not available. Important to know those are free to practice, and the ones under restrictions;
6 – During the working hours the subject of the discussions must be football, the work, the Club and Program. From time to time it is recommended the Staff has a barbecue, lunch or dinner together to enjoy and have fun.
7 – The Monthly Programme and the Week Program must be done in
advanced and distributed to all participants: Committee, Staff, Office,
Squad, and Media. Important to plan in details for Staff interest the Week
Program;
8 – Compulsory to keep in the Squad the shortest possible number of players, the ones of good level, national team level, and committed.
No tryalists. The Club scouts the ones to be brought.
9 – All suggestions and recommendations about the routines and plans should be done immediately, preferentially during the week meeting every 2 days before the coming game.
FOR GAME´S DAY
1 – The list f players should be presented at least 24 hours before, if possible. Any other way only due to technical interests or related to the Medical Department.
2 – In the day of game players and Staff should arrive in the dressing room 90 minutes before the game starts (FIFA´s pattern) to be on time, keep focus and do not rush.
3 – All the time program of meals should be submitted to the Medical Department, or the Fitness Department.
4 – Belong to the Medical Department or to the Fitness Department the routines of meals in general, as well as to send previously the Menu to the Club’s House and Hotel, through the Team Director. One hour before any meal the responsible (Doctor or Trainer) should go to the restaurant and kitchen to check the preparation and the time.
5 – Should be created norms and routines to the players about training, and games at home and away. Avoid to chance.
6 – The Team should be ready to get in to the field 10 (tem) minutes before the game starts and 2 (two) minutes before re-stars.
7 – During the half time a routine must be got:
4’ (re-hydration and rest) – 4’ (Head Coach Speech) – 2’ (Players speech)
– 3’ (re-arrange equipment- re-hydration – re-warm up).
NOTE: Suggestions (90 minutes)
90 min – arrival in the stadium and dress room;
90 min until 71 min – “window for media and press”;
70 min – start to change;
45 min – start warm up;
20 min – finish warm up;
10 min – team commitment and ready to get in to the field;
a) Beginning of the Match:
30 min. Equipment Manager;
20 min. Head Coach;
25 min. Trainer;
03 min. Final preparation
- Re-start: (13 minutes)
4 min. Re-hydration and rest (D.M., treatment);
4 min. Head Coach’s instructions;
2 min. Players discussion;
3 min. Final preparation
Obs.: All these norms should be discussed first, after approved to be done.
