Student Prayer

Divine Master, Jesus Christ, we worship you as the Old Incarnate sent by the Father to teach men the truths that give life.

You are uncreated wisdom, eternal light, the only Master: “You have only words of eternal life.”

We give you infinite graces because you have lit in us the light of reason and faith and because you have called us to the light of glory.

We believe, by submitting our intelligence to you and to your Holy Church, and we condemn all that condemns it.

Show us, O Lord and Master, the treasures of your wisdom, make us know The Heavenly Father, make us true disciples of yours.

Increase our faith, so that we may one day behold you eternally in heaven.

The beatification took place on May 4, 2013, in Baependi, in a ceremony presided by the prefect of the Congregation for the Cause of Saints, Cardinal Angelo Amato, representative of the Holy See, who announced the date of June 14 as the liturgical feast in memory of Nhá Chica.
