Who invented football? This question

goes back in time millennia before

Christ. And yet, to this day it has not been

convincingly answered. The version

more accepted points to China, where certain

dates were celebrated with a game that

gathered crowds. The povaréu (lot of people) was divided into

two groups and were trying to overcome

kicking paper balls. Later the fun

was adopted by the Romans. And the paper balls

replaced by air-filled bladders or

simply, by the heads of enemies

killed in combat. The novelty has reached the

 kingdoms of Brittany, which perfected it

taking care, rather, of civilizing it, abolishing the

use of heads as balls. But they played it differently

so brutal that was born then a slogan that

would mark football for many years: that of being the

violent Breton sport. Such violence generated

fatal accidents, to the point where the game is

Forbidden. He would only revert many more years

afternoon in Renaissance Italy under the name

calcium and England as football. Was

1863, Mr. Kiburn, from Oxford, resolved

standardize the game by giving them rules, whose bases
