PLAY OFFS 2007

GENERAL OBJECTIVE:

To win the Play Offs and qualify AmaZulu F. C. to play the Premier League 2007-2008

SPECIAL OBJECTIVE:

To form a homogeneous and committed squad based in the previous work during the League, since January 31st and prepares the team to participate successfully in the Play Offs against the Mvella teams, win and qualify.

To establish the working’s Plan and the Preparation of the Team to play the games, as well as the Weeks´ Program.

MEANS:

To strength the Methodology applied since the beginning of our work up to date based on:

  • the practice of the Fitness Conditioning (considering the team is at the last phase of the preparation – Maintenance – stressing on speed, agility and explosive power, extending as possible the phase);
  • The practice of the Technical Conditioning (considering the team has achieved the last phase of the preparation – stressing on competitive fundamentals, mainly shooting-finishing,
    crossing and assisting. Offensive, preparatory and defensives;
  • the theory and practice of the Tactical Conditioning (considering the team is at the last phase of the preparation, the evaluation of strengths and weaknesses observed during the
    previous stage of the competition (mainly conceding goals from set pieces,
    conceding goals before 15 minutes of the second half, small amount pf finishing
    and poor quality, not good performances in set pieces , the improvement and ad
    equation of the System, Marking Method, and Tactics with the ball in movement
    and stationary (free kick, penalty kick, corner kick, through in, goal kick,
    kick off), in both cases offensives and defensives.
  • The use of practical knowledge of Psychology to lift up the emotional of the players, to re-focus, and gaining confidence to perform at the best level.

PROJECTS:

The Program contains besides the Objectives and Means, the Projects that are the Pillars of the application on a practical way, mainly the five (5) weeks Plan (three up to the end of the first stage – June 10th, and two up to the end of the second stage – June 24th).

The first week of the first stage is a re-conditioning of the physical, technical and tactical basic aspects, as well as re-focuses the aim of qualifying to Premier League 2007-2008).

The second and the third weeks of the first stage are the form the new team based in the previous one as well as determine Basic, Derivative and Alternatives Systems, Marking Methods, and Tactics in according to the previous participation and the informations obtained of the competition and the opponent)
